Skiing Pics!

Hey!

Red River was amazing! I have never been there in the winter. It's so pretty! I thought the mountain wouldn't have very many slopes, but there were a lot. On the backside there are a lot of greens, which is good for me since I can't do blues very well because of my knee. We all stayed at the Copper King Lodge.

After we got settled in, a bunch of us decided to go walk down the main street of Red River. It was snowing and freezing cold, but we are crazy and went anyway! It was a blast. Ryan shoved an icicle through Dani's head and Scott jumped into a snowman's arms and decapitated him. :D

Finally we all got to bed and the next morning we got up and hit the slopes. Ryan decided to try snowboarding during the morning, so Dustin, Tiffany and I all stuck together to check out the mountain.

Ryan got tired of snowboarding after the morning was over, so he switched to skis. Around 2:30 we dicided to stop skiing and go walk around Red River and check out some of the shops. We ended up finding a place to stay for our honeymoon. It's called the Riverside Lodge and we were very lucky to find it. Since our wedding is Memorial Day weekend, it was very hard to find a place to stay in Red River. But we did!

Saturday night we ate at a restaurant called Timbers. It was very good, but very expensive. They had a parade of skiers come down the mountain at night with flares, and we got to watch that on the balcony of the restaurant. It was pretty neat. Then on Sunday morning we got up and checked out a few more shops and then left. I am still sore from skiing!

So I hope you enjoyed the pictures! Go ski at Red River! :D

Skiing Time!

Guess where we are going today!?!?!?!?

SKIING in Red River!!

Woohoo!

Anyway, I am pretty pumped about that. Hopefully I get some great pics and I can put them up here when we get back. We are going with the Wesley. I think there is like 22 of us! I am soooooo excited!!!!!!

But besides that, things have been going well. All my classes are good I guess.... I just really don't like Drawing III. We have to draw people in that class and sometimes I get really frusterated with myself because I can't get proportions right. But oh well. Almost halfway through this semester!

Oh yeah... I have a good story for you. It cracks me up. The other day Ryan and I were going to the mall and we had Kaiden (Ryan's nephew) with us in the back seat. Ryan looked out the window and said, "Hey Kaiden, what's that?" He was pointing at the mall. Kaiden goes, "It's the mall!" and then Ryan said, "No... it's not!" He was just messing with Kaiden. And then Kaiden said, "Well if you think about it, it's not the mall..." LOL What the heck does that mean?!?! It made me laugh so hard. We have no idea what he meant. Anyway, that goes on my list of the best quotes ever!

Alright, I have a lot of stuff I need to be doing right now, so I am going to go do them.

Pictures of the House

I know this isn't officially our house yet, but I wanted everyone to be able to see it! This is a picture of the front.

This is the backyard. Everywhere that there is grass, there is a sprinkler system!! Woot! And I love the concrete slab in the back. Not so much mowing! And I'm thinking.... POOL!

This is the kitchen. It has all new countertops and new tile on the floor and above the counters. The cabinets are a little old fashioned, but that's alright! If we want to, we could fix that later in life. I think we are going to be getting the stove and fridge too!

This is the dining area. Perfect for me and Ry! I'm so excited about decorating! The walls you see here will be RED. Go bold! We are also getting new carpet put in... I'm not a fan of that brown speckled stuff.

This is the view of the living room from the dining room. This lady has a lot of STUFF.

This is a view of the living room from the other side. It's very large! Good for having people over! It has some nice built ins on each side of the fireplace. Ryan and I wanna put a TV above the fireplace. There is not going to be an office in our living room like this lady has, though.

This is the entry. Crazy wallpaper and yucky tile!

This is the guest or hall bathroom. It's a really good size bathroom. It has a new sink and countertops. The tile is sort of like the entryway though...

This is one bedroom. It will be our guest bedroom. There is another bedroom next to it that's the same size and it's going to be our studio/office.

Here is the master bedroom. It is absolutely huge! This picture gives it no justice!

View from the other side of the master bedroom.

This is the master bath. I don't know that I would really call is a "master" bath, since it's actually smaller than the other bathroom. But it has new tile, new sink, and new shower! Very nice! Oh yeah... and some very pearly wallpaper!

Hope you enjoyed looking at the pics!

The House!

Hello!~

Things have been pretty crazy in Ryan's and my life lately! School has started again, and I am taking 13 hours! That probably doesn't seem like too much, but with graphic design, the classes are all 3 hours long each!! I go to class from 9-3 every day! It's almost like I'm back in high school... YUCK!

However, it's not school that has been keeping me very busy... it's the
Wedding Planning
My Crazy Headaches
and The New House!

Wedding Planning
So basically, there is still a whole lot we have to get done! Sometimes i get pretty stressed out about it. Most of the major stuff is done, but all the little stuff is going to take us a while. I am going to be going home for part of spring break to work on all that stuff--like making bouquets, making favors, checking in with everyone, mailing invitations, etc. There's a lot to do! But I'm getting pretty excited. I can't wait to marry Ryan! It's going to be such a fun wedding and I hope everyone enjoys it! I know I will... :D

My Crazy Headaches
Yeah. The title says it all. Starting about the second week of school I started having these horrible headaches...like having an ice cream headache that lasts 3 hours every day! So anyway, I decided to go to the doctor about them because they were about to drive me crazy. I even went and bought some new glasses because I thought that not wearing them was my problem! Anyway, I went to the doc and he said it was probably cluster migraines, but wanted me to get a CT scan just to make sure. So now I am just waiting until the 13th to go see him again and see what the CT scan has to say. But my headaches have stopped now, which makes me really think it's definitely cluster migraines. They last for like two weeks, 3 hours a day, and then go into "remission" for months or even years. I had some like this about 4 years ago, and my doctor in Colorado told me to get glasses. Well, it didn't help!

The New House
Yes! We got a house! Well, probably. We don't close until the middle of March, so I guess it's not absolutely official until then. I am so excited! It is 3 bedroom/2 bath/2 car garage and it's like 4 blocks from my dad's house. I already have the colors picked out! We have to put new carpet in it and take out a bay window in the living room and replace it with a door. There is no back door... weird huh?

Well I gotta go... class is about to start!
