New Hair Time!

I think it's easier for people to understand what's going on in my life when they can see pictures of it! And pictures are a lot more interesting than just plain ol' words... so here you go!

I guess that is what's going on for now. Ryan and I are going on a Wesley leadership retreat in Ceta Canyon tonight. It's going to be fun! Sleeping with the bugs!! :D

the rain

Hello world!

I can't believe it's already the 11th of October! Thanksgiving and Christmas are gonna be here before we know it!

The same ol' boring stuff is going on in my life... except for now my hair is pink! It isn't going to stay that way very long, though, because it is already fading a lot. I have an appointment next Friday and I'm gonna dye it brown and try out some extensions! Edwina told me that I could keep my hair short and put extensions in for the wedding if I wanted. Not only would it make my hair longer, but it would also make it a lot thicker! So we are going to test it out to see if that's what I want to do. I'm pretty excited!

I'm also excited because Mom, Drew and Trista are coming down today. Trista is finally going to try on her bridesmaid dress! She will look gorgeous in it... she looks gorgeous in anything! It's also WT's homecoming this weekend. So we will be going to the parade, Fair on the Square, and the football game on Saturday. And maybe on Friday night we will go to one of the haunted houses around town!

Classes are still going really well... I'm sitting in my Digital Publishing class right now. We are working on a project called "Save the Giraffes." I have to create 4 postcards that are thematic that have something to do with saving the giraffes. It's going well. And in painting class I'm about finished with my 3rd painting! I keep getting better at it I think... I really like the painting I am working on. When I am home, I will try to post some pictures for everyone!

And I love coffee. It's so great. Sorry... I'm kind of random sometimes.

Ryan is doing pretty good too. He still loves work. But other than going to work, his days are filled with practicing with the Wesley worship band, playing his still-kind-of-new xbox360, and hanging out with me of course! We do date nights on Wednesdays so that we have time every week to just hang out with each other and not everyone else. We went to the dollar theater last night and watched the newest Harry Potter. He hadn't seen it yet and I was really excited that he wanted to go see it! And he liked it! :D While we were watching the movie it started raining like CRAZY and we could hear it hitting the roof. When the movie was over, it was still raining, but we decided to run outside anyway and try to get back to my house. We should have just stayed because it was flooding all over Amarillo!! There was one point where the exhaust to my poor little car was actually UNDER WATER! I could hear it making gurgling sounds. It was...what they call...ya know....FREAKY!

Anyway, I guess I better get ready to start class in a few minutes. That turned into a really long blog... and I didn't even have anything to talk about! Haha...
